Barnet Council are providing free bystander intervention training titled ‘Stand up against Harassment’ by Helen Burrows from the Suzy Lamplugh Trust. The training will be held for all London Borough of Barnet staff, VAWG (violence against women and girls) practitioners and community partners on 28th November from 1-2pm. As you may be aware, Barnet Council is signatory to the Women’s Night Safety Charter (WNSC). This event will be held during the 16 days of activism (from 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day) .
