Barnet Homes’ response

“I would like to know more information from Barnet Council for their redevelopment plans for areas in and around Shoelands Court and Silk Court in Annesley Avenue London NW9.”

The residential blocks of Silk House and Shoelands Court are proposed for redevelopment. The latest information regarding these proposals was shared at the public Cabinet Committee at 7pm on the 14th November 2023. It was item 14 on the agenda and the papers for this can be accessed here: https://barnet.moderngov.co.uk/ieListDocuments.aspx?CId=1010&MId=11433

“I would like to see the proposals for redevelopment”

This project is at an early stage as the decision to redevelop was only made in November 2023. A design team has not been appointed yet and so the plans and proposals have not been created yet. It is therefore not possible for us to share them.

“I would like to see…details of contractors”

The contractor has not been appointed yet and so we cannot share these details with you.

“I would like to see the… timescales”

The anticipated programme is included in the strategic outline business case for this project. This was shared publicly as part of the November Cabinet meeting.
