Make summer’s end count – come to the Burnt Oak community roadshow

/, News/Make summer’s end count – come to the Burnt Oak community roadshow

Over the summer we held a successful community roadshow in East Finchley. This Saturday 9 September, from 12 midday, we are having our 2nd summer roadshow at the Burnt Oak Community Centre.

You don’t have to bring anything – just bring yourselves and family and friends. The event is free!

This Saturday is also the perfect opportunity to mark summer coming to an end. There’ll be lots of sports-focused activities, the fabulous ‘Vales Nails’ Nail bar and the collaboration between Love Burnt Oak’s Community Kitchen and The Real Junk Food project. Their ‘Pay-as-you-feel’ supermarket went down a storm at the first community roadshow.

Staff and senior managers from across our services will be at the event to provide advice on employment opportunities and benefits. You can also speak to members of our Performance Advisory Group if you want to get involved!

Finally, we welcome any feedback or ideas from you on the day about how we can work together and improve your community.

Look forward to seeing you on Saturday 9 September at Burnt Oak Community Centre from 12-4pm.
