“Kevin led the launch of Safe Places, an innovative scheme to get businesses to sign up to become safe places for service users to go if they are feeling anxious when they are out in the community. This involved working with Barnet Mencap and the Metropolitan police and developing an innovation bid for funding.
“The launch of the scheme was a PR success with celebrity attendance and wide press coverage. Since April ten businesses have joined the scheme.”
