Rosa Morison got a very special visit recently from The Barnet Group’s Director of Operations Derek Rust, who in turn bought good news in the form of a cheque.
Derek Rust won £500 when his name was pulled out a free prize draw after completing a survey for an IT company who work with public sector organisations.
Derek decided the gift his win to the Rosa Morison Day Centre, saying it was an easy decision because of the inspirational work they do: “It was my pleasure to present a cheque for £500 to the charity ‘Friends of Rosa Morison Day Centre’. The cheque was originally provided by IT company Moby Soft.”
He continues: “The funds have already been earmarked for upgrading some of the sensory equipment at the centre that is used to help stimulate the service users who suffer from profound and multiple disabilities.”
