The Barnet Group has appointed Elliott Sweetman as Interim Group Chief Executive.

Elliott becomes Chief Executive, having held the roles of both Group Director of Development and Property and Group Director of Operations and Property at The Barnet Group for the last eight years, and has over 20 years of sector experience.

Elliott’s key focus for the coming year will be the Group’s new Strategic Plan and its four key priorities:

  • supporting people to deliver their best
  • delivery of quality services and care to customers
  • enhanced effectiveness and nurturing innovation
  • growing financial strength

Commenting on his appointment, Elliott said: “It is an incredible privilege to be taking on the Interim Group CE role of this amazing organisation. The challenges in housing and social care have never been greater and I am looking forward to working with our excellent team to continuing TBG’s strong track record for delivering quality, innovative, customer focussed services for the residents of Barnet.”
