Staff across The Barnet Group capped off a successful year of fundraising by joining in with the national effort for Christmas Jumper Day.
We managed to raise more than £100, which joins the tally of £2,000 worth of funds which kind-hearted staff at The Barnet Group have raised so far this year.
How the money raised helps Save the Children
- £1 could pay for oral rehydration salts to help provide life-saving treatment to 16 children sick with diarrhoea.
- £2 could pay for winter shoes for a young child in Afghanistan.
- £5 could pay for educational toys to help children in the UK learn through playing.
- £10 could pay for a pre-school learning kit in the Philippines.
Believe it or not, a Christmas jumper could be the difference between a hot meal or no meal. It can help bring essential healthcare, education, protection and food to millions of children around the world who are missing out on these basics.
