Flower Lane staff, parents and carers work hard throughout the year on fundraising, through fairs, raffles and other events. Some of the money raised, by Flower Lane Action Group, contributes towards trips for service users – which this year arrived just in time for the heatwave.

One of the trips a number of service users have attended this summer included a trip to Woburn Safari Park. The above picture was taken at a Flower Lane outing in 2018.

The world-famous Safari Park is home to over 1,000 animals, many of which park visitors can get very close to! (Hopefully not too close.)

The Flower Lane Group recently had a fantastic time at Woburn Safari Park, with a service user’s parent contacting the service to express what a wonderful time their son had:

“We would like to thank everyone involved in making the day at Woburn Safari Park so fantastic. G came home very excited and cannot stop talking about his experience. He was all smiles and so pleased with the picture he bought.”

Through its charity, Flower Lane Action Group, (FLAG) staff, parents and carers from the service work very hard throughout the year on fundraising, through fairs, raffles and other events. Some of the money raised contributes towards trips like these for service users – and as you can see these outings prove to be enormously beneficial for their health and well-being.
