Barnet Council are now consulting on the future of adult social care in the borough and are seeking views on two areas;

  1. a new way of delivering adult social care in Barnet; and
  2. a new way of organising our adult social care services, of which there are 3 options.

Details of these proposals can be found in the following link, which includes the full consultation document, Easy Read version of consultation document and questionnaires.  You can complete the questionnaire online, or alternatively print off and post responses if you prefer.  The consultation is now live and will run until Monday 8 August 2016.

They would like as many people as possible to be involved in the consultation and encourage us to share this communication with other relevant stakeholders.  They have also produced some posters and leaflets to promote the consultation further.  If you require posters, leaflets, or paper copies of the documents please contact consultation@barnet.gov.uk .  Please note that this may take a few days to get to you.

They will also be organising workshops over the summer to facilitate stakeholder input and ideas sharing which we will provide you with more information about in due course.  In addition, should you have any meetings or events upcoming that it would be helpful for us to attend to help explain the proposals or answer questions you can let us know by contacting consultation@barnet.gov.uk.
