TBG’s Employee Volunteering Scheme:

The Barnet Group recognises that it and its employees have a significant role to play in the communities in which we work. The Group actively encourages its employees to develop their skills within the context of their personal development plans, and to harness their skills to add value to the many voluntary and community organisations that rely on volunteers to achieve their objectives. The Barnet Group allows employees to take up to a maximum of two working days of paid work time per year (pro rata for part-time employees) for community volunteering. Supporting its employees to volunteer helps The Barnet Group to build stronger links with the local community, and contributes to achieving the aims of its Strategic Plan.
