Finest Flowers Competition
In 2007 we launched what is now our annual finest flower competition, to encourage residents to take pride in their homes and neighbourhoods. A judging panel consisting of Barnet Group Board members, staff and residents from our scrutiny group, PAG visit every garden entered into the Summer competition.
Winners receive gardening vouchers and are presented with a certificate at our annual resident awards event. The competition is increasingly popular with residents and the standard gets higher every year, making a real impact across our estates and homes.
Categories include;
- Best Front/Back Garden
- Best New Gardener
- Best Communal Garden
- Best Garden in a Sheltered Scheme
- Geoff Beddingfield Award – for outstanding efforts within the gardening community
