While we continue to improve resourcing in the Repairs Service, it is taking us longer to book in repair appointments for residents and there are delays with completing some types of repairs. This is because we have shortages of some types of Operatives, including Plumbers and Carpenters, and a backlog of repairs to work through. We also need to make sure we prioritise repairs of an urgent nature.

Our current target timeframe to complete routine responsive repairs is 15 working days. However, due to the resourcing issues and the backlog of repairs, we are taking around 25 working days to complete routine repairs. We are sorry for the delays and other difficulties that you may have experienced. We are well-resourced to deliver some types of repairs, such as electrical repairs, so have been able to be complete these within the target timeframe.
