Travelodge , Ramada, Premier In, Cranbrook, Dreams Hotel, Park Hotel, Hollingbury Hotel, – the rates vary from day to day- average nightly rate £81.72/night.

The nightly rate varies on the room type, its size, and facilities, e.g. family room, disabled units. The rates vary from £40- £160/night and are subject to seasonal variations.
- Please can you advise us on the MAXIMUM that your council CURRENTLY pays, per night for a: Studio, 1 Bed, 2 Bed, 3 Bed & 4 Bed in temporary accommodation nightly rate bookings. Please include the maximum rates for properties that you are currently paying, including that which is paid OVER your advertised rates. There is no way Pan-London/LHA rates are viable for any landlord so we would like to know how much you ACTUALLY are paying for your highly demanded temporary accommodation units.
Our nightly rates for self – contained units are based on the maximum of PAN London Rates (see below)

Occasionally we may pay above these rates when a TA placement can be made only in certain areas, or when there are no other properties available. The nightly rate we pay on these occasions depends on the BRMA (Broad Rent Market Area), size of the unit, and specific features (e.g. wheelchair adapted) and varies as below :

1 bed from £20 to £75.00
2 bed from £48 to £88.00

We do not use private hostels. We only use council owned hostels which are charged at below local housing allowance levels.

Barnet Homes deal with former asylum seekers placements on behalf of Barnet Council. It does not deal with the placement of adult asylum seekers as they are not eligible for housing under homelessness legislation.

- Does your council do “nightly rate block booking” for your temporary accommodation placement. This is temporary accommodation housing, which is paid on a nightly rate basis, that is block booked throughout a given period – e.g 12 months – 5 years.
Yes, for 12 -36 months max.
