This week from the 18th – 24th October is Get Online Week 2021 – a campaign lead by the Good Things Foundation to inspire communities to get online and get connected.

We are proud to be working with BOOST- Barnet Council’s skills and employability service and the Barnet Community to host a series of digital skills events throughout the week to help our residents to build confidence, skills and knowledge around the online world.

Digital Skills are vital for carrying out a range of day-to-day tasks such as applying for jobs, accessing state benefits, health care, employment services, education, news, entertainment and many more. A lack of digital skills can have a huge negative impact including access to employment, benefits, skills and healthcare.

We’re working with a wide range of community organisations in Barnet including Barnet libraries, community centres, housing, education and health care providers to deliver a series of face to face and online digital skills workshops to support Barnet residents who may be new to the internet or wish to improve their digital skills.
