Residents at Prospect Ring had a celebration at the end of September to welcome new residents at Gracie House to the area.
The community get-together was also a thank you for residents at Prospect Ring for their patience and understanding while Opendoor Homes’ new block, Gracie House, was being built. Gracie House will provide much-needed affordable accommodation for 50 families.
Attendees at the celebration with blessed with good weather, and there was plenty of entertainment for the area’s children. Residents were also able to meet staff from Hill (the Gracie House contractor), Barnet Homes and Opendoor Homes.
After almost 18 months of social-distancing restrictions, it was fantastic to be able to meet residents in person again.
Derek Rust, The Barnet Group’s Director of Growth and Development said:
“The event, funded by our construction partner Hill, was an important opportunity for all the new families housed there to start to integrate into the existing community. The weather was kind, and it was good to see the face painter so busy on the day!”
