June 28th is Employability Day, which is led on by the Employment Related Services Association who promote how organisations can support people into employment.  We are delighted to support this campaign by sharing some of our outcomes about we’ve helped local people into employment.

A local resident, a young man named Joshua, shares his story on how he found a job. Joshua’s story:

“Before I did the Level 2 Award in Skills for Business and Administration course my life was about doing nothing apart from signing on and looking for jobs.

“I got told about this course from the people I signed on with. In the course I learnt a lot of things and it gave me confidence. Plus I got work experience with the course so that was a good out come to put on my CV

“After I did the course I felt more confident in my life, I felt more mature and I felt better because I had something else to add to my CV. The course benefited me by getting my mindset back on track by making myself more organised such as getting up early every day to get myself back on track.  Best of all I found a job!”
