The start of June has not only bought incoming rainstorms, but we had our first Big Lunch at Grahame Park (the sun was shining that day).

Lunch for over 200 people was served up at Grahame Park’s concourse and there was face-painting on offer for the children thanks to some talented volunteers!

This weekend sees the next Barnet Big Lunch taking place at North Road Community Centre on Saturday 15th June from 11am.

As well as having fellow residents over for a big lunch, North Road residents are also having an environmental day (big clear up) and they are asking for volunteers.

If you can spare some time this Saturday afternoon, North Road residents are asking for volunteers to help with trimming back plants, shrubs, weeding or even helping a neighbour (who might be unable to do these things themselves).

We, and our contractors Mears, are helping out by donating tools and equipment and helping out residents on the day, too.
