Calling all you budding entrepeneurs!
There’s good news. Barnet Council, Middlesex University and Barnet and Southgate College are running an Entrepreneurial Barnet Competition.
The competition offers local students and entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their business ideas and win cash prizes.
The competition is in three exciting stages.
Stage 1: the Elevator. Applicants have 2 minutes to pitch their idea and if this is successful, you go through to the next round.
Stage 2: The Plan. You are asked to complete a ‘Business Model Canvas’ – three finalists are chosen.
Stage 3: The Final. The remaining finalists go head to head and pitch in front of a live audience and panel of expert judges.
If you have a business idea and are interested in trying your luck, or have a perfect pitch, you must register for a place.
