Art Against Knives (AAK) is a charity that supports young people at risk of violent crime and although they are locally based, the positive work they do with  young people has spread across London and beyond.

AAK have recently been awarded a joint grant from Barnet Homes and The Grange Big Local to deliver a new and exciting program aimed to reduce serious youth violence and safeguard young people living on and around the Grange Estate.

Over the next 12 months the project will support young people (12-25) who live, or associate in the N2 area. Young people will have exclusive access to AAK’s award-winning, creative projects that provide industry standard training.

These include; a community nail bar for young women, a pop-up music studio & their recently launched ‘N2 Combat Academy. Specialist staff will be on hand to support them through a mentoring programme that will address the challenges they face, help them access targeted support & into education, training and employment that includes our own apprenticeship program and those of our contractors.
