Bumblebee, The Barnet Group’s private lettings agency, has supported Live Unlimited with a £5,000 donation; helping the charity continue its crucial work in supporting Barnet’s looked after children and care leavers.

The donation, which contributed to Live Unlimited’s Big Give Christmas Challenge, was part of over £21,000 raised which will go directly to supporting looked after children and care leavers. It will help to improve their mental health and wellbeing, reduce their social isolation, help develop new skills and provide pathways into sustainable employment. Some of Live Unlimited’s most crucial work is their flagship scheme, Driving Ahead, which provides 46 hours of free driving lessons and test fees for those aged 17-25.

Live Unlimited had hoped to raise £15,000, but Bumblebee’s contribution helped them smash their target.

Chief Executive of The Barnet Group Tim Mulvenna said: “We are delighted to continue our support of Live Unlimited. I know that this donation will make a positive difference to Barnet’s looked after children and care leavers.”

“The charity is a key part of the Barnet community, and we are proud to be a part of its journey.”
