It’s National Apprentice Week from 6-10 March, so we thought it was the perfect time to share stories about how this year’s intake of The Barnet Group apprentices is progressing.
This year we have nine apprentices working across The Barnet Group, including Your Choice Barnet. One of our apprentices, Natasha Trivedi, reveals why she decided to apply for an apprenticeship with us, instead of following her initial plans to go to university.
“I have definitely become a lot more independent. I realise I don’t need to rely on others for help and support because I am fully capable of doing it myself.”

A former apprentice, Kirsty Johnson will talk about her journey from apprenticeship to Barnet Homes’ employee as she returns to her old school next week to inspire a new crop of apprentices! Keep your eyes peeled for a story about her visit.
If you want to find out more about an apprenticeship with us, Barnet Homes will be attending Barnet MP Mike Freer’s annual Apprenticeship and Jobs Fayre on Friday 10 March.
