Back in 2009, the Eden Project came up with the concept of holding The Big Lunch. Through this idea, the Eden Project supports and encourages people all over the UK to build stronger communities and increase local connections.

The Big Lunch is about people coming together over food and drink, for no specific reason other than its good for communities and ourselves to get together. It’s good to talk!

Residents from in and around Granville Road Estate got together for a community picnic recently.

This time residents from two of our Supported Living schemes, Agatha House and Harold Court joined in with the ethos of The Big Lunch and had their own lovely summer party.
