For the past three years, Flower Lane have had some welcome improvements to their communal gardens – the latest being an outdoor gym!
Firstly, in 2015 staff volunteers Brent Cross developers Hammerson plc gave the gardens a makeover, complete with re-painting benches and re-doing flower beds.
Then last year Flower Lane celebrated their garden’s one – year anniversary with a celebration party for the Queen’s 90th birthday!
In 2016 they were also successful in bidding for £5,000 worth of outdoor gym equipment. This week the fitness apparatus was finally installed.
Being able to do physical exercise will help service users at Flower Lane with their overall health and well being at the same as encouraging social interaction.
