The Barnet Welfare Reform Taskforce celebrates their third birthday today.

The partnership working group, which brings together advisers from Barnet Homes, the London Borough of Barnet, Future Path and the Department for Work and Pensions has supported a total of 2,084 cases during the three-year period.

Out of these cases:

  • 744 have found work
  • 235 have moved to more suitable accommodation
  • 325 have claimed exempt benefits and are no longer capped
  • 261 have been supported with Universal Credit
  • 464 have been prevented from becoming homeless.
