Resident Associations and Community Groups bring people together to make a difference to where they live by creating a sense of community.

Resident Associations

We can assist residents in setting up their own association. Take a look at the Barnet Homes Guide to Setting up a Resident Association or the TPAS Guide for more information on becoming a recognised Resident Association. If you need additional support to set up a group, please email us.

If you would like to get in contact with any of the existing groups below, please call us on the number/s above.

Community Groups

Would you and your neighbours like to work more closely with other organisations in your community?  Including the Police, health services, schools, nurseries and local faith based groups to make local improvements.

Why not consider setting up your own local group. Community Groups provide a greater opportunity for local people to address their own local priorities. We can provide technical advice and support to invite and involve a diverse range of partners to address common issues where you live.

Barnet Homes supports a number of recognised and active community groups in Barnet including supporting groups to become registered charities.

We have created our own how to guide that includes advice and tips. There also a number of useful websites available.

If you would like any further information or advice please email us.
