The Barnet Group, including its subsidiary companies Barnet Homes, Opendoor Homes, and Your Choice (Barnet), is committed to providing great services to all of our residents and service users. We know that staff who can be themselves at work will be happier and more productive, and will serve our customers better.

Equality

It’s about recognising that people have different needs that can be met in different ways, and ensuring that every individual has an equal opportunity to make the most of their lives and talents. Equality recognises that historically certain groups of people have experienced discrimination, and it means that you have the right not to be discriminated against because of who you are or what makes you different from other people.

Diversity

Diversity is about valuing the individual differences people bring to our organisation. This could be through social categories that impact on our life experiences, such as age, race, sex, gender reassignment, disability, religion or belief, sexuality, or any other characteristic that makes us who we are.
