We aspire to provide great services, at great value, that make a positive difference to people, homes and communities.

Created by Barnet Council in 2004, we manage and maintain council homes, including leasehold properties. We completed a £185million Decent Homes programme in 2011.

In April 2012 we became one of the first arm’s length management organisations (ALMOs) in the country to take on additional housing services. We now oversee housing assessments, allocations, supply and advice.

In February 2012 we became part of The Barnet Group, a local authority trading company owned by Barnet Council. We also have a sister social care company, Your Choice Barnet, providing services to adults with a range of physical and learning disabilities.

Since then, we have gone from strength to strength, and were awarded another ten-year management agreement from Barnet Council in 2015.

We are passionate about building new homes in the borough of Barnet. In 2016 we completed an ambitious programme to build 40 new homes on previously underused sites.

This work heralded the launch of Opendoor Homes, a Registered Provider. Opendoor aims to build over 300 homes for affordable rent by the end of 2019.
