The Barnet Group’s PA Choices works with individuals who need a Personal Assistant (PA) to support them around the house, or take care of daily essentials.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, this support has been indispensable. 

But our PAs are not going it alone. We recently had support from our Contractor R Benson who helped install a new fence for one of our PA Choices customers.

Helen Young, who manages the PA Choices service said: “I cannot begin to tell you both how much difference this will make to make to the resident. To have something so positive happen to her will mean so much.”

R Benson have an excellent track record of providing social value for many years to our community and were naturally our first point of call.”

They were happy to answer the call for help and considering the challenging environment we are currently operating under, the work was carried out in an efficient and safe manner.

The outcome is an excellent finished product that has clearly had a positive effect on the customer and her ability to enjoy her garden.

We are grateful to R Benson for completing this work in the timescales requested and for continuing to make a difference to our customers under the social value scheme.
