This initiative gives residents with project ideas the ability to attract funding from the community, council, businesses and foundations through one portal. They raised £350,000 for good causes during their original partnership with Barnet Council, with more than 1,000 people getting involved and pledging money.
Through Crowdfund Barnet, Barnet Council willing to put up to £5,000 into crowdfunding projects that support the priorities in their Corporate Plan, and can prove they have wider support from the community.
The first funding round will be held this autumn, and the deadline to pitch projects to Crowdfund Barnet is Monday 11 November.
