Barnet Council has launched a public consultation on its Growth Strategy to 2030.

They want to hear your views on the new Growth Strategy, which sets out a programme of growth, regeneration and development activities to 2030. The strategy responds to current trends and recognises that the borough’s population is growing and ageing, that there are many changes to how its residents live and work, and changes are taking place to the way people use their high streets.

The Growth Strategy encompasses five key themes that cover housing, transport, work, the future of town centres, and Barnet as a place to live in and visit. The Council wants growth to offer greater local opportunities, help to create better places, and encourage more active and healthier lifestyles. To ensure growth is delivered appropriately throughout the borough, they have developed an area-based approach that splits the borough into west, centre and east.

They want your input to help us develop the Growth Strategy, so are consulting on the strategy until 15 September 2019. To read more, fill in the survey and get in touch with the team, go to https://engage.barnet.gov.uk/growth-strategy
