We raised £200 by Wearing it Pink

Last Friday Barnet Homes’ staff put on a good show of ‘Wearing it Pink’ to support Breast Cancer Care’s nationwide fundraising day. Even staff who didn’t wear this lovely hue donated generously.

We managed to raise £215, which adds to our total staff fundraising tally in 2017 of around £1800.00

Sadly, around 50,000 women in the UK will be diagnosed with breast cancer each year and around 11,500 will die from it. So it is yet another cause close to peoples’ hearts. 

Money raised from Barnet Homes’ pink dress-down day on Friday will go towards much needed cutting edge research into breast cancer, ensuring more women will survive a breast cancer diagnosis.
