New friends made at Sheltered Housing summer tea-dance

/, News/New friends made at Sheltered Housing summer tea-dance

Every year our Sheltered Housing team hosts a summer tea-dance for our older residents.

This year the annual event attracted older people from other schemes across the borough including Mayflower Lodge, Kingly Court and service users from Your Choice Barnet.

This is good news, as it means our older residents can meet a cross-section of people – not just from their own schemes.

It was also a wonderful occasion at which to meet and welcome the Deputy Mayoress of Barnet, Valerie Duschinsky and her partner, the Mayor’s Escort, Peter.

Keep checking our website for information about Silver Week, 1 – 7 October on other events we are holding for older people.
