Tracey Lees, Chief Executive of Barnet Homes since 2008 and Your Choice and The Barnet Group since 2012, is leaving to become Chief Executive of Wandle Housing Association. Tracey has worked for more than 30 years in social housing for a number of Local Authorities, Registered Providers and ALMOs. In 2014 Barnet Homes was voted number 19 in 24 Housing’s prestigious Top 50 UK Landlords Awards.
Tracey said: “It has been my absolute pride to be Chief Executive of The Group for the past six and a half years. Despite the many challenges, so much has been achieved delivering excellent services to residents and service users and consolidating The Group’s position as one of the best in the sector. The time is therefore right for me to accept the unique opportunity the role as CEO of Wandle offers.
“I would like to place on record my thanks to the Board and my team for their support, inspiration and loyalty over the last six and a half years.”
The Barnet Group Board will be meeting imminently to discuss the recruitment of Tracey’s successor.
